What you are paying for
The unlock is for sharing, not for the writing tool. You keep the words and the preview either way. Paying creates the sealed page your partner can open later — on a phone, laptop, or by scanning the QR code in person.

Does the recipient pay?
No. Only the sender pays once. Opening the letter is always free.
Do I need the annual plan?
No. $2.99 unlocks that letter page and never recurs. The optional annual plan is for people who send several letters: it unlocks unlimited letters while it is active.
What if I need help or a refund?
