Printable Love Letter Templates You Can Actually Mail
A letter you can hold beats a notification. These free printable templates — a ruled letterhead sheet and a foldable card with a marked QR-code square — turn a digital Love Link letter into something you can hand over, post, or leave on a pillow.
What is in the download
Two print-ready templates: a letterhead sheet with a fine border and light ruling for a handwritten letter, and a foldable card whose inner panel has a marked square sized for a QR code.
Both are sized for US Letter and print cleanly on A4. Download them below — they are free, and there is nothing to sign up for.
How the printed QR code works
Write your letter on Love Link and preview the opening experience free. A one-time $2.99 unlock gives you the private link and its QR code.
Print the code and set it into the card's marked square — or paste a cut-out over it. The recipient points their phone camera at it and the letter opens in the browser. No app, no account on their side.
Printing tips that matter
Use the heaviest paper your printer takes — around 200 gsm or light cardstock — so the card stands up like a real one.
Print at 100% scale rather than 'fit to page' if your margins allow it; the QR square is sized to a comfortable scan distance at full scale.
Test-scan the printed code before you hand the card over. A code that scans on your screen can still fail on glossy paper — matte stock scans most reliably.
When paper beats a link
Inside a gift box, taped to flowers, or propped on a breakfast tray — some moments need an object, not a message preview.
The card covers the handing-over part; the QR code carries the part paper cannot: the envelope that opens and the letter that reveals itself word by word.
Printable love letter questions
Are the printable templates free?
Yes — download and print them as often as you like. Writing and previewing the letter is free too; the one-time $2.99 unlock is only for the shareable link and QR code.
What paper size are the templates?
Both are laid out for US Letter (8.5×11 in) and print fine on A4 — choose 'fit to page' if your printer's margins are narrow.
How do I get my QR code onto the card?
After you unlock the letter, Love Link gives you its QR code. Print it and place it in the card's marked square, or paste a cut-out on top.
Does the recipient need an app to scan it?
No — any phone camera recognises the code and opens the letter in a browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Can I write the letter by hand instead?
Yes — that is what the letterhead sheet is for. Use the card with the QR square when the letter itself lives online.
